The Goal (Off-Campus # 4)
Picture this: It's 2 AM, and I'm curled up with my hot cocoa, completely unable to put down "The Goal". As the final book in the Off-Campus series, this book had big skates to fill—and damn, does it deliver! Elle Kennedy has given us the perfect finale to the Off-Campus series, and trust me, you're going to want to clear your schedule for this one.
Remember how we thought we couldn't love a hockey player more than Garrett or Dean? And maybe we can’t but John Tucker puts up a good fight for number 1. But what makes this book absolutely SHINE is our girl Sabrina James. She's the kind of heroine who walks into a room with her color-coded planner and "don't mess with me" energy, which made me obsessed from the very first page.
Sabrina isn't your typical romance heroine waiting for love to change her life. She's got plans for law school, to escape from her toxic home situation, and has a future mapped out down to the minute. And Tucker? He's not here to "save" her or change those plans. Instead, we watch this quiet, steady hockey player become her biggest cheerleader while dealing with his own family’s drama.
But can we take a second to talk about their chemistry? Because WOW! But what gave me butterflies was how their relationship develops through these perfect little moments - late-night study sessions, quiet conversations, and the way Tucker looks at Sabrina like she's the most impressive and precious person he's ever met. There are so many scenes that had me clutching my kindle to my chest and trying not to wake up my entire household with my feelings!
